Fifty bucks cheaper than the Nike Shox TL, the Nike Shox NZ was designed for the runner that enjoyed Shox tech but wants a lighter shoe. Funny enough this shoe went on to become much more popular than its more expensive cousin the TL. Features include a simple one piece inner sleeve construction, perforated authentic frame linked with a Gilly lacing system to lock in the foot to the midsole, four column Shox cushioning in the heel with Phylon in the forefoot and an outsole that featured full length BRS 1000 carbon rubber with modified circular waffle outsole, enhanced deflection through designed geometric pods and Tacky Waffle Fill outsole properties for better traction on the road. Some 15 years later and this shoe still has somewhat of a cult following. Original retail was $100 USD with newer releases retailing at around 124.99
