Another familiar name this version of the Icarus -per the Nike catalog-was designed as the little brother to the Nike Shox NZ because it was said to offer “some of the great fit and feel found in the Nike Shox NZ at an entry price”. They featured a one piece tongue and vamp construction, breathable meshes and synthetic cage overlays -inspired by the Shox NZ-, full length Phylon midsole, Encapsulated heel Air Sole, TPU mid foot shank – for added torsional rigidity-, full length BRS 1000 carbon rubber outsole and modified Waffle outsole. Retail was $60 for the standard release and $65 for the leather release.
