Ok, its hard to believe its been 7 years since the last release of these but thats how long its been. When the 2003’s dropped they were everywhere and then gone just like that, but not because of people lining up or camping out, no you see this was the first pair of Retro Jordan’s that the re-sellers beasted on, and boyyyyyyy was it a pay day. Store owners that didn’t get them, and just plain regular people were buying entire store stock (this wouldn’t be allowed today for a release that big). These things tripled and quadrupled in value within hours of release something we hadn’t seen in a retro Jordan up to that point (probably because the forums and eBay were still growing). Although the “Nike Air” was missing off the back of these which was very disappointing the quality was still very good. The leather, the fit, the plastics all very good, (even OG air units). These fit true to size and wear well, if you stored your pairs in zip lock bags (not zipped up) it prevented the plastics and midsole (which are prone to yellowing) from doing just that, yellowing. These are not usually prone to cracking, and if they do they were definitely stored in a very poor environment If the 2010 retro is anything like the last fire red release (in terms of quality) I would recommend holding out for a set of 03’s (don’t let hype dictate your decision).
