Nike Air Max Octane II & Octane II SL Cross Training Shoe 2003

I’ll put it out there, I’m not a big fan of Air Max shoes that look like this as they always give me a vibe of high heel sneakers. With that out of the way this $85 shoe featured lightweight molded mesh (the SL featured lightweight synthetic leather and metallicized tongue top logo), combination of lightweight Phylon in forefoot, PU and TPU chassis in the heel, Max air unit in the heel, solid rubber non marking outsole and multi directional pattern for various surfaces. It was a cool shoe if you just don’t give a %^&& about shoes and are strictly concerned with function (not to say these were terrible looking because they weren’t) but they just weren’t for me.Take a trip back below.
