Reebok Re-Introduces The Industry To Their Basketball Heritage Via A Properly Done BB 5600 Retro For 2018

When I said that Reebok was adidas’s secret weapon I meant it -and for good reason-. The brand has an archival of dope shoes that rivals that of Nike so when I heard that they were bringing back the BB 5600 for a second time (The Reebok BB 5600 Was first retro’d in the early 2000’s) I had high hopes and Reebok delivered.

Two of the most significant OG color way’s of what was one of Reebok’s top tier basketball shoes of 1986, the Reebok BB 5600 make its way back and much improved over its early 2000’s counterpart. Improved shape, improved materials make this a must buy for fans and non fans alike.

Worn by guys like Danny Ainge and
Drazen Petrovic on court,

this was also the shoe that LA Gear ripped off back in 1988/89 for their L.A. Gear Street Slammer basketball shoe

and the same shoe that inspired Fear Of God’s $995 basketball shoe
