I still remember the first time seeing the “Menthol Air Force 1” -an unauthorized Air force 1 inspired shoe- at Clientele (the long since gone shop on Lafayette across from Supreme). They were dope but I didn’t see myself ever actually wearing them and so I kept it moving.

Fast forward some 12 years since their initial drop and they have become one of the most memorable sneaker’s of all time. Sure, like a lot of product its limited availability helps to give them the much desired exclusivity factor but there was much more behind the drop and lets not forget the sick packaging.
