While things have increasingly gotten better, women for the most part are still not regularly catered to as far as sneaker’s go but if there is one brand in the footwear industry that has been looking to change that then look no further than PUMA. Everyone felt the power of #DoYou – PUMA women’s platform that focuses on self- empowerment and finding your own inspiration- and celebrated female friendships & empowerment with a series of Galentine’s Day events across the world Tuesday night. Culminating in Los Angeles, PUMA welcomed badass ladies to an immersive Galentine’s hangout where they enjoyed their BFF’s company and fun activities like customising their Muse Echo sneakers at the DIY station, getting their Sketch fashion illustrations, ear piercing and taking insta-pics from the candy hearts gallery room. The night’s special highlight was an empowered conversation with two outstanding women who are fully embracing the #DoYou attitude and inspiring countless others to do the same – American actress, model and activist Yara Shahidi and former Editor-in-Chief at Teen Vogue and award-winning journalist Elaine Welteroth. Check out some fliks from the night below and be sure to follow the #DoYou hashtag.
