Designed to be versatile the Air Tore Mid was good for activities ranging from hiking to biking and off trail running to be used, of course, in all conditions and on all terrain. In New York you’d often find these on the feet of the back packing teenager decked out in Lo and Hilfiger complete with the windbreaker, baggy jeans and five panel. This was one of those shoes that was a real good buy because you got a lot for your money. At $85 you got features like a highly durable textile with PU coated leather rand, midfoot wrap, lace lock hardware, reinforced toe box, visible heel air sole unit (with a design similar to that of the Nike Air Terra Humara from a few years earlier), three quarter thermoplastic shank, PU Midsole and All Trac outsole compound and lug pattern with highly durable rubber, aggressive high traction lugs and hemisphere lugs in midfoot section for arch traction. Coming in both mid and low top (which retailed at $80) this was a shoe on the radar of many. Take a trip back with this ACG banga below!
