Franco Fava is a former long distance runner from Italy that had his own sig shoe through Ellesse, a brand that itself was founded in Italy. The company saw its peak popularity in the US around the late 80’s into the earlier part of the 90’s and would go on to grace us with a few retro’s over the years with the Iconic Franco Fava being one of them. How well the shoe sold is anyones guess but your best bet of snagging a set of these today is if you have a connect in Asia, as thats the last place the shoe was retro’d.
