Saucony is known to build solid running shoes but for a generation raised on Galaxy Foamposites and Yeezy’s its hard to imagine a $120.00 Saucony shoe that doesn’t have some crazy nickname or uber limited availability, but thats how things were in the early 90’s. The Saucony Grid America was slip lasted and semi curved and featured a single density compression molded EVA polyurethane footframe reare and forefoot GRID. This was the first year Saucony used its GRID tech in both the forefoot and rearfoot which was used to increase cushioning. Today these shoes rare show up and even when they do go largely unnoticed by most. Expect to pay anywhere from 80-150 depending on side and condition but beware chances are they are no longer wearable. Take a trip back to 1993 above!
