In 1999 New Balance dropped a cross training shoe named the MX755BK. They featured a non marking rubber outsole, synthetic/mesh upper, ABZORB in the forefoot and a C-Cap midsole. They were available in sizes 6 1/2 to 16 and did come in widths. With all the specs out of the way lets take a look at the design, look familiar to you? Well, in 1996 Reebok dropped a shoe called the Reebok Shaq Preacher VizHex, and while I’m not saying that the design was taken from that shoe you have to admit the midsole design is an awful lot like that shoe. Anyhow, looking for a set to add to your collection? Good luck, not only do they rarely show up in good sizes but they rarely if ever show up at all. The one good thing? If you do find a pair don’t expect to pay over 100 bucks for a new pair in a good size (you’ll probably pay lower.) Take a trip back 1999 above!
