Creating a shoe that not only performs great but also looks good is no easy task but Avia played no games in the early 90’s. Designed as a shoe for overpronating big dudes, that (get this) wear orthotics, the 2075 featured little to no Avia branding but plenty in the design department. They were combination lasted with a dual density poly midsole and solid carbon rubber (in cantilever) heel design (so keep that in mind if your trying to dig up a pair for casual wear, they probably aren’t wearable) and featured a unique print on its stretch fit lycra collar as well as a combination of mesh, leather and suede on the upper. To keep things in perspective, your grand pops would have probably pulled up in these dope shoes. Today, tracking down a pair to hurt the feelings of other shoe heads will be a mission. Pairs rarely show up and if they do you’ll more than likely have to compete with someone from overseas so be prepared for a bidding battle. Take a trip back to 1993 above!
