Released in 1998 this was a very interesting shoe from Airwalk. Aside from the fact that the shoe looked dope it also could have passed for well….an Adidas shoe. Features included: a Nylon midsole shank, an SPD compatible outsole to fit all SPD compatible pedals, waterproof suede/Propex upper, a padded collar and tongue, removable forefoot cleats for off bike climbing, 3M reflective strips, Turtlex lining and a soft rubber outsole. Finding a set of these today will be tough. They don’t show up very often (to be honest I’ve never seen them show up on eBay at all) but if you do find them you should be able to snag them for a good price (probably around 35-75.00) Take a trip back to 1998 above!
