If you love ACG but have been looking for something else to add to your collection then look no further. In the late 90’s Adidas’s Feet You Wear campaign provided for some dope shoes that were like NOTHING else on the market. A few kicks from that era have returned but non from their “Adventure” aka hiking line, and after seeing this shoe your going to really have to ask why not? The Katmai was designed as a shoe for rugged running, snow shoeing, and speed hiking. The uppers consisted of water resistant full grain nubuck leather, adiDRY membrane with a bellows tongue (to keep the foot dry without sacrificing breathability), and die cut rubber overlays for extra durability. The midsole is composed of compression molded EVA for cushioning and a carbon rubber outsole for traction in a variety of conditions. The bottom line is the shoe is $%^&*@ dope! Trying to find sets today will be no easy task and if you can find a set in your size (at a good price of course) jump on them. Take a trip back to 1998 above!
