Oh laaawwwd. The 1970’s black label Converse Chuck Taylor is back! Ok ok lets calm down for a second. First, most people are going to ask: Who gives a *^$#? Its just a regular ass Chuck right? Nope. First, check out DeFY. New York’s Ultimate Converse Chuck Taylor video and brush up on the differences of the Chuck Taylor releases through out the years. Next, the last time we saw a Chuck Taylor release that was close to the OG 70’s release was 2009 when Converse released the Addict series in Japan (the Addict series is an updated version of the 1960’s version of the Chuck Taylor with Vibram soles). This latest retro will feature more cushioning, thicker canvas and black label on the back. One of the main differences between this retro and the original 1970’s release you ask? This pair will not be made in the U.S.A. as they were back then. Check them out above.
