It may be hard to believe, but in 1986 Diadora had a $95.00 running shoe on the market called the Olympia. It was the heaviest running shoe on the market but also the most durable (according to Runnersworld) and for 95 bucks (in today’s market it would be the equivalent to a 200 dollar shoe) it should have been.
