Li Ning has officially launched a new brand named WADE. According to Sole Collector, “Dwayne will personally oversee all products as the Chief Brand Officer.” Reception of his first shoe has been met with mixed emotions, but its really hard to tear it apart. For one, the design is relatively simple, and second no one has actually seen them in person. Here’s my only gripe with them at first glance; did this shoe really need speckled print midsoles? Its in the opinion of this blog that had they ditched the speckled print and opted for a solid metallic paint or even a solid colored midsole this shoe would have looked much better. The price will be around $125.00 with an early 2013 launch date. On a side note anyone else check out Mr. Li Ning’s feet? Pretty dope, Stay tuned.
