With streetball becoming increasingly popular, the film industry took notice. Throughout the early to mid 90’s several good basketball themed movies released, one of them being ‘Air Up There’ staring Kevin Bacon as Jimmy Dolan. Bacon makes sneaker history not only by busting Buddy Wilson’s (Keith Gibbs) butt on the court (who by the way was rocking the Reebok SXT Pump) but he also went to Africa and won the right to recruit Saleh (Charles Gitonga Maina) all while sporting the Reebok Black Top Battleground Pump.
