When shoe heads saw this 2003 ad pop up in their magazine of choice everyone knew what time it was (no, not peanut butter jelly time). Thats right, time to get your hands on some Converse Aero Jam’s worn by non other than Larry Johnson aka Grandmama. Its closing in on 10 years since we’ve seen this shoe hit the shelves since and me thinks its about that time for a re-retro. Of course, the first retro of this shoe wasn’t without some disappointment. The retro was a watered down version of the original, gone was the splatter paint and purple that made the white version really pop. Lets hope that if Converse does give this shoe the retro treatment again, they do the right thing by them. Take a trip back to 2003 above!
