Released in Y2K the Nike Air Masai came in both mid ($90) and low top ($85). Aside from a nicely crafted silhouette the Air Masai was more than a pretty face and featured: Waterproof leather and PU coated leather rand, cable system hardware evenly distributed, gusseted tongue for debris protection, double lasted construction for the upper, interlock construction, PU with visible heel Air Sole unit, Pylon forefoot and internal thermoplastic shank in the midsole, as well as an outsole that featured a low profile high traction rubber compound with multi directional lug configuration. They were light weight and comfy and were a great companion for the average hiker. Take a trip back below!
