The late 90’s (specifically 98-99) always stood out to me as a very special time in the footwear industry. Releases weren’t in overkill mode, and you had to love the near perfect blend of original design, technology, and comfort that seems to be lacking in newer designs today. The Total Air Bus Max was one of those shoes that had it all; tech, comfort, and understated design (oh and it didn’t hurt that it was Jerome Bettis’s shoe either). Check it out below.
