This was the first year the large Jordan Key chain showed up. Retro’d in 2001 this colorway was actually more sought after at the time than the Black red Jordan I’s that released the same day. They came in the Jordan box with this face on it. The 2001 retro + featured nice leather uppers and nubuck. They run a little small so I would recommend going a half size up. The same year a japanese shoe was released with a slightly higher cut, and a screen printed Jordan logo on the ankle as opposed to the GR release with the plastic Jordan logo on the ankle. It was the first time the Jordan 1 showed up since 1994 and although the cut of the shoe was definitely off it was a nice release. Below are pictures from the DeFY. New York Photo vault enjoy.
