The Nike Air 180 was a good running shoe for that time. It looked good and performed good. Their was was however, controversy surrounding this shoe, and production was eventually brought to a halt. Avia filed a lawsuit alleging patent infringement against Nike and won. A former Nike employee around during these times informed me that Nike was forced to recall and destroy all remaining 180 shoes (during the original release of this shoe) which would make the originals slightly more rare than other OG’s. Below are pictures of the original 1991 Nike Air 180 Olympic Edition Running shoe. Enjoy!
