The first time I saw this shoe I loved the styling and even more so the fact that it was a basketball shoe offered by a company that was mainly known for running shoes. This shoe featured its ECAP technology (I’m assuming this was before ENCAP which is a core of EVA encapsulated within a shell of polyurethane that adds stability and shock dispersion). The toe box looks oh so running inspired New Balance 1300 . These bad boys are very tough to come by now a days and these might be the only photo’s of these on the net (I could be wrong but I have yet to see any). As you can see from the photo’s below, they were worn by Dennis Rodman when he was on the Piston’s! Anyhow, below are pictures from the DeFY. New York Photo Vault. Throw on some striped tube socks, sit back and take a trip back to 86-87 below.
