The Air Structure series from Nike had kicked off as a youthful in your face sneaker. As the years progressed however, that all changed. Release after release it seemed that the structure line was aging with its original buyer and instead of going with a radical look became rather stale (it wasn’t until this years release that anyone under the age of 30 would consider buying a pair). Today we look back at at the Structure Triax for Y2k a year that brought about man radical designs and one that wasn’t all to bad for the Air Structure Triax. They featured a combination of lightweight mesh and synthetics, full length dual density Phylon, dual pressure heel air sole unit, fore fo0ot air sole unit, forthbridge stability device, BRS 1000 carbon rubber in high wear areas and Duralon in the forefoot.
