Pony’s Shooting star came in both high and low top and was touted as good for both basketball and fashion. The upper featured a combination of soft leather with vinyl trim, 2 tier foam padded collar with extra wide cushioned tongue, non marking 3 color rubber outsole, Texon midsole and an extended heel counter all for 47.99. As far as seeing dudes wear these there weren’t many on the playgrounds but in hindsight they really weren’t that bad at all. Take a trip back to 1989 above!
