Slightly lower on the totem pole in the line of cleats offered from PUMA, this $75 cleat designed for players at the high school and collegiate level, the Convertible featured synthetic leather with an abrasion resistant toe made of Benecke’s Ceraprene Rubber. There was also a Power Frame fabric with support straps – that help maintain a consistent fit-, A tongue with gussets – to act as a shield against dirt-, a removable compression molded EVA foot bed with an anti bacterial top cover called Sansole from Bedeck- for improved hygiene, iCELL cushioning in the heel encapsulated with a Polyurethane, Peebax three color plate with two sets of cleats that can be removed and replaced with a standard screwdriver. One set is a stainless steel spike and the other is a TPU spike for use in leagues that don’t allow metal spikes. The plate also has PUMAs duo flex forefoot for added flexibility. Construction is fully board lasted with an additional heel tuck board for improved stability.
