Something Special: Recap, Jason Peterson “New York in B&W” Solo Photo Exhibit

Anyone with a camera can consider themselves a photographer these days (many do) but it takes a special eye, someone that is extraordinarily perceptive to their subject and of course good old hard work to separate the good  from the great.  Enter Jason M Peterson.  Jason (Chief Creative Officer of Havas Worldwide, (the agency responsible for one of the most iconic ad campaigns of all time: Dos Equis’ “The Most Interesting Man in the World” and the McDonald’s SuperBowl commercial featuring LeBron James and Dwight Howard battling for a Big Mac)) has been engaging people across all media for over 20 years.  Well, all attention was on Jason last night at the Royalton hotel last night as a crowd gathered to view a series of intimate black and white images he shot that capture modern NYC in a study of “massive scale vs the human condition”. “These are the small moments that happen when the 9million New Yorkers aren’t looking.” states Jason.
For a man with nearly 500,000 followers on IG , he is both super nice and super modest.  Jason was appreciative but shied away from any praise of his photographs as special, but its more than clear they are.The exhibit which is Jason’s first solo show to date will be on display until May 31st at the Royalton lobby.
