Nike’s Takes Us Through Their Link to New York City’s Hoops Heritage

If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.  Nike made it. Nike’s famous NYC stamp on some of their late 90’s AF1’s was more than just a way to sell sneakers, it was Nike’s way of reminding the public of its long standing relationship with some of NYC’s toughest ball players and the way their footwear was engrained in the city’s blacktop history.
