With the current re-release of the Reebok Battleground III Pump and a 2004 retro of the Battleground I Pump the next move would be to focus on the 1992 Battleground II. Part of the Blacktop collection the Battleground II originally retailed for 100.00 and featured Reebok’s famed Pump System for customized mid foot support, leather upper with a padded collar, polyurethane midsole (sadness for guys that collect OG’s) with Hexalite and a Nylon and polyester sock liner. While not as popular as the first Battleground Pump it could be argued that the Battleground II was more popular than the III. The only reasoning there could possibly be for not re-releasing the II before the III is the fact that both the I and the II have very similar designs. If you’re in the market for a pair today your best bet is eBay and you can expect to pay around 100-275 depending on size, colorway and condition.
