The Air Max 2003 isn’t my favorite in the Air Max lineage, matter of fact they aren’t even close. Still this clean 03 release isn’t a complete dud. At $130.00 they featured synthetic Teijin material perked for breathability and flexibility, internalized ventilated midfoot support strap, anatomical sockliner package with heel Poron inserts, full length maximum volume Air Sole unit and TPU (which looked an awful lot like the AM 97), and a waffle grip outsole configuration. In the end Nike really played it safe for 2003.
