Overalls: Early 90’s Or Bust…

The early 90’s was a fun time for fashion. Those that lived through it remember one piece of clothing in particular; Overalls. Around 1990-very early 92 it seemed everyone was wearing them. There were also Overall shorts for men that were passable pretty much only for the summer of 91. People began to gravitate towards the darker denim overall’s towards 92 and 1993 which seems to be the last year they were considered a mainstream wardrobe piece. Fast forward to 2010 and you rarely if ever see a person on the street (especially a guy) wearing overall’s. Early to mid 90’s fashion is definitely hot right now with the later part of the 90’s not far behind. Will overall’s become a part of everyone’s wardrobe again? Its possible. Levi’s produces a limited number of early 1900’s issue Overall’s every now and then (usually for the international market) and Carhartt always comes with the quality. Only time will tell for now, check out some throwback pictures below and feel free to vote whether or not YOU think Overall’s will make a comeback.
