Larry Bird Vs. Michael Jordan McDonald’s Commercial: Vol. Nothing But Net 1993

There are a bunch of great sports related commercials from the 90′s, but few as memorable as the Larry Bird Vs. Michael Jordan 1993 McDonald’s Commercials. The plot of the commercial is that Larry Bird wants the Big Mac that Jordan has brought to a practice, and challenges Mike to a game of H-o-r-s-e. My only question is, why did Mike wind up playing for the opportunity to do exactly what he was going to do to begin with, eat a Big Mac?! These commercials have been running in NY for a few years now, usually very late at night. I don’t know whats funnier, the sound effects of the guy getting hit by the car from the first commercial, or the squirrel with the legs for arms in the second commercial. Gather round the comp with your boys and have a good laugh. Check out both commercials below!

Pepsi cool cans or otherwise known as the cans that aroused you. Yea, aroused you. Outside of the fact that these cans had some dope designs on the outside there was a rumor that if stacked a certain way they spelled out the word “SEX”(check out the pictures below). Subliminal advertising at its best or coincidence? Who knows. Either way it left us with some dope cans, and remnants of a year that was filled with some of the best footwear ever created, great television shows, classic music, endless video games and much more. Pepsi “Gotta Have It” 1992

The Pepsi “Gotta Have It” card was the follow up to its “License to Chill” Card. This card was offered back in 1992 and gave you discounts on certain merchandise and or stores. The only way you were able to obtain one of these cards (atleast in my experience) was winning the Pepsi Challenge. Take a trip back to 1992 and check out the card below, pictures from the DeFY.
