There are a bunch of great sports related commercials from the 90′s, but few as memorable as the Larry Bird Vs. Michael Jordan 1993 McDonald’s Commercials. The plot of the commercial is that Larry Bird wants the Big Mac that Jordan has brought to a practice, and challenges Mike to a game of H-o-r-s-e. My only question is, why did Mike wind up playing for the opportunity to do exactly what he was going to do to begin with, eat a Big Mac?! Anyhow, take a trip back to 1993 with Mike and Larry below (and check out the follow up commercial with Charles Barkley as well)!

The first American born Taiwanese/Chinese player in NBA history has grabbed the starting point guard position by the horns, putting up stats similar to those of some of the best in the game (20 plus points in each of the last five) but one has to wonder, can he maintain this success through out the season and beyond? Check out five other athletes that have gone from “zero to hero” and place your vote below!
