For some, hurricane Irene was wind and rain, for others it was a nightmare. If you lived in a coastal community such as the south shore of Long Island, you most certainly felt the effects of what was a category one hurricane/tropical storm. New York, New York big city of white. Snow that is, New York received a hefty amount of snow fall. As much as I like snow I didn’t enjoy the boulders of snow in and around all the cars courtesy of the local plows. If your planning on ever living in the North East it would be wise to invest in a snow blower. Anyhow, below are pictures from the day, for everyone that hasn’t been able to experience snow enjoy the pics!
