“Rollin’ In MPV’s Every Week We Made 40 G’s”: The Mazda MPV 1989-1995

The Mazda MPV’s production began in 1989 and featured selective 4 wheel drive, plenty of room for the crew and good gas mileage. The car went on to land a spot on Car and Driver magazine’s ten best list for 1990 & 1991 but it wasn’t until artists like Wu-Tang Clan & Fat Joe featured these vans in their video’s that the MPV’s place in pop culture would be solidified. From soccer mom’s transporting kids to the the local dealers rolling around with the crew the van had mass appeal. Take a trip back with the 1989 commercial below and make sure to peep the MPV’s appearance in C.R.E.A.M. at 1:14, and its intro to Fat Joe’s ‘Shit is real’ vid at 2:59.

Roadtrip: Addict Clothing x Snowbombing x Aston Martin Cygnet

Last year’s road trip to Snowbombing was Addict x Volvo. This year? Addict teams up with auto legends Aston Martin. The Addict team will be cruising in three Cygnets all wrapped in different Addict Camo (The C-Law Desert Camo, She-Camo and the upcoming Jungle Camo) making their way from Dover alongside 140 other teams in pi-yi-mped out fashion. That’s over 400 people driving through Europe with just one stop at Frankfurt for a well deserved break and party!

The Snowbombing line-up is as big as the event. Dizzee Rascal will be headlining but other big names include: Example, Chase & Status, Wretch 32, Labrinth, James Zabiela, Zane Lowe and many, many more. It’s going to be epic and Addict will be there every step of the way to make sure the artists and DJ’s are given the opportunity to experience the Cygnets in all their Camo wrapped glory.

To keep up on the week of activities, make sure to follow Addict on Facebook, and Twitter
