Hip Hop has a real gem in Korean American HeeSun Lee. Born in 1983 Seoul South Korea, Lee was abandoned by her birth parents and raised by Chinese American immigrants. Raised in Staten Island, her music career got started in 2008, with the release of Re:Defined. by Jahrock’n Productions. Her second album -Stereotypes- would go on to be her Billboard chart breakthrough album on the Top Gospel Albums chart at No. 25. Lyrically she is a MONSTER that deserves the push of a major label but for now she is riding her ever increasing popularity in the Christian hip hop scene. Can we get Kirk Franklin Collab?
