The Puma Cross Country was a clean looking casual shoe but for $250? Ouch. Described as “Puma’s answer to the urban rat race with a twist”. The upper featured full grain leather, Lycra with reflective line detail, two velcro straps TPR outsole and a bottom design inspired by the human vertebrae. Ditch the velcro straps and maybe the $250 price point would have worked at the time. Take a trip back to an interesting time in Puma’s history.
