The Trainer Max line was already historic by the time Y2K arrived. With Bo Jackson embedded in the minds of those of us that were around for the Trainer Max 91, we expected good things from the Trainer Max V and for the most part (aside from the design) you received a pretty decent shoe. Looks wise they were pretty generic especially for a $125.00 shoe but what you received was a rich synthetic leather and mesh upper with molded detail, midget TPU band wraps around the midfoot, full length PU midsole, blow molded Max Air unit in the heel and forefoot, midfoot shank, solid rubber hybrid (court and running) outsole a 5/8th cut. It was designed for the consumer that wanted the best in cushioning and protection and thats just what you got, although at $125 a lot of people (myself included) would have gone the Air Max or Jordan route instead. Take a trip back below!
