This is a new area for DeFY. New York where we will feature designs and/or portfolio’s of footwear and apparel designers that are currently in college or recently graduated. Here you (the reader) can vote and comment on their work. Our first feature is Michael Sturge. Mike is currently enrolled at the Art Institute of Portland, in Oregon studying industrial design in hopes to become a designer. He describes himself as an avid shoe collector stating “I love shoes man, everything about them, I love the way they look, and feel, but most importantly, I love to look into the story of the design and the subtleties that others may not catch.” Check out some designs above and make sure to vote below.
