VIENNA (May 24.2011 ) — Austria’s gonna get a BIG dose of Monster Energy’s global action sports flavor this July when the Ken Block Gymkhana World Tour hits the e-brake for a 360-degree spin around the capital city’s Shopping City Süd Shopping (SCS) Mall, Sunday, July 10th.
DC Shoes co-founder Block has been tearing it up on the Word Rally tour recently with the Monster Energy/Ford program – though European fans may know him best for his YouTube.com stunt driving videos dubbed “Gymkhana.” Insane power drifting and record-setting jumps, Block, an A-level motocross racer, rips in a car much like he does on a dirt bike.
The Ken Block Gymkhana World Tour – Monster Energy’s latest consumer promotion — features a chance to win a Gymkhana-style ride in the seat next to Block — makes stops in multiple major European countries, including: Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, France and Bulgaria.
