A Pair Of Kicks That Deserve A Medal: The 2000 Nike Air Presto Olympic Edition

Arguably one of the best sneakers to ever come out of Beaverton, or anywhere for that matter the Nike Air Presto is legendary. It was the first shoe that made me feel like I was picking out a shirt coming in sizes xxs,xs,s,m,l,xl,xxl, and xxxl. The sneaker is so light weight the uppers feel like you are wearing foam socks. They are sleek, and have good midfoot support, not to mention they just plain look good. These were released for 4 years straight in tons of colorway’s, and found its way to NikeID’s site. Eventually they disappeared until Nike decided to retro them again in 2009. Do yourself a favor and own these atleast once in your life, you may never take them off! Sizing was tricky on these and changed throughout the years. Check out the sizing chart to figure out your size for the 2000 release. Below are pictures from the DeFY. New York Photo Vault of an original pair from 2000 in a special OLYMPIC edition. Stay tuned for more pictures in other colorway’s to be posted soon.
