So in early 2009 I was able to get my hands on what turned out to be a very good collab shoe. Alife got a hold of the New Balance 1300 and chose the perfect color’s. Less is better and in this case that definitely holds true. These came in three colorways (you will see the Grey/teal colorway in another review).Prices varied as some people were selling above retail, but retail was around 180 USD. Fit wise they were pretty true to size although i like a little more room so i opted for a half size up. Materials were top notch. My only gripe with this is that when walking in them I found them to be unsteady, and to “grippy”. When walking in these its easy to feel a little unsteady they definitely don’t give you that low profile feel. These were definitely comfortable but it almost felt like i was wearing soft cleats. Anyhow, all around its a nice shoe if your going to buy one colorway do yourself a favor and pick up all three (if you can) can’t go wrong with these simple colorways.
